Safe haven Recovery

For many people, a hectic, stressful lifestyle is a contributing factor in the development of addictive behaviors, as they may resort to drugs or alcohol as a coping mechanism. The Safe Haven program is designed to make you as comfortable and relaxed as possible so you can focus on your recovery. By providing a beautiful, peaceful setting and access to a variety of upscale amenities, we can address all of your needs during treatment.

 

It is important to remember that you are not alone. Ideally, your closest friends and family will be able to support you in a positive manner and environment. This communication will be facilitated by your counselors to avoid any triggers that may lead to relapse. Therefore, we do not allow cellular devices or unsupervised communication via the internet for the initial intake period. We understand that your family, friends and loved ones want to support your comfort and relaxation during rehab, however, we do not permit possessing money during your time in our facilities. This ensures that your sole focus remain on your recovery and bonding with your peers for support.

 

If you’ve been dealing with addiction for an extended period of time, it has likely taken a toll on your physical fitness and appearance. We offer a complimentary gym membership which includes a fully equipped fitness center, an exercise center, and basketball and tennis courts. Additionally, we partner with a local salon to ensure to provide haircuts and manicures during your stay. You’ll be able to re-engage in activities you once found enjoyable while sober and enhance your physical health and well-being.

 

 

Housing: 

 

During your drug and alcohol addiction treatment, you will stay in one of our residential housing facilities and attend treatment during the day at our outpatient facility. This helps you to separate living and care while still remaining in a setting conducive to your recovery.

 

All of our recovery residences are located in sunny Miami, Florida in close proximity to our treatment facility. These warm, homelike settings offer the privacy many people need while recovering from their addiction. All of our residences have been designed to feel like home, not a cold institution, and to foster feelings of safety and security. Each of these residences is separated by level of care, ensuring you are always with the right group of people during your treatment phases. We are focused on providing structure and support during your journey to recovery.

 

Each residential location features the following:

 

• Full Time Staff – an experienced and supportive technician who will assist with all issues that you may face during recovery. Our technicians are trained to offer a flexible approach to meet each persons individual needs in recovery.

• Safety Focus – we are committed to providing safe, clean, drug and alcohol free homes.

• Atmosphere – each of our homes is nicely furnished and features spacious gathering areas to ensure the comfort of each resident. We believe strongly in fostering a sense of family and community.

• Life Skills – while a behavioral technician is always available, we believe that learning to provide peer-to-peer support is a vital part of the recovery process. Each resident is required to contribute toward maintaining a clean residence and following a daily schedule of chores to contribute toward this. Residents also participate in planning, shopping for and preparing nutritious meals.
