Our Addiction Treatment services also include Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT). Clients are seen daily by our medical staff consisting of nurses, ARNP's and an MD Psychiatrist. They will consult with the client and determine their medical needs, whether it is an antidepressant medication, anxiety medication or anti-craving medication (ie: Suboxone, Gabapentin, Vivitrol, etc.)

Safe Haven Recovery is an intimate Florida addiction treatment center providing individualized care to our clients to help them recover from the disease of addiction. We specialize in Suboxone Maintenance, Suboxone Detox, and Couples Addiction Treatment.

Levels of Care
PHP (Partial Hospitalization Program)
A partial hospitalization program (PHP) provides a mix of outpatient individual and group counseling in a setting with medical services. Nurses and physicians are available for clinical care, such as medically supervised drug and alcohol detoxification.
Our medical and clinical staff will assess the patient and generate an individualized treatment plan, group addiction therapy, structured one-on-one therapy sessions and group peer support time.
IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program)
An intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) provides reduced time in outpatient counseling per week. The treatment is provided by a variety of professionals including nurses, counselors, physicians, psychologists, therapists, and social workers. Individual counseling is part of the treatment but the emphasis is on group therapy.
Many of our patients enter our IOP program after completing the more intensive PHP program. The IOP program is flexible with three hours per day, three days a week and a one-on-one session with the patient’s primary therapist.
Opiate Detox
We recognize at Safe Haven that detox is the first step of the recovery process for most of our clients. Detox is an integral part of the recovery process and provides many of the key tools for a lifetime of recovery. We partner with many state of the art, luxury detox centers in south Florida, each of whom recognize the importance of psychological and physical healing prior to entering a PHP program.
We recognize that the decision to get sober is a lot of work and once you decide to get help, we make all arrangements for you. We locate the ideal detox center program based on your individual needs as assessed by our recovery team and will arrange transportation upon admission and transport you after the detox process to our rehabilitation center to continue your journey.
Individualized Care
We recognize that group therapy sessions are helpful, but not enough. Our highly skilled counselors prepare individuals for group counseling sessions and to become comfortable with focusing and dealing with the root causes of their addictions. Our therapists actively encourage our clients to participate in peer addiction support groups and work the 12-Step program.
We offer individual plans to help our patients learn to cope with the issues that caused them to turn to drugs initially. All one on one counseling sessions are geared towards satisfying the recovering addict’s personal needs in order to reach their goal of lifetime sobriety.

The goal for our clients is to find a lifetime of recovery, free from the grip of drugs and alcohol. Our full continuum of care extends beyond residential and intensive outpatient treatment. Our unique aftercare program enables our clients to accept full responsibility for the success of their long-term recovery while receiving the support and structure to make that possible. Like each phase of our recovery program, our aftercare program is tailored to the particular needs of each of our clients.
